BioI grew up in The Woodlands, TX, land of the elite, home of the uber-rich. I swam competitively throughout most of my childhood for The Woodlands Swim Team and The Woodlands HS JV team. I was a pretty good swimmer and placed in the top ten at some TAGS events. My parents divorced when I was 13. My mom remarried very soon after, and my dad remarried the following year. That's right, I have 4 parents. My family is quite large. At the beginning of my 9th grade year, I moved to Richardson, TX, where I promptly quit swimming and started becoming an intellectual. It started with my 9th grade English teacher, Ms. Gorman, who gave such hard quizzes over A Tale of Two Cities that I took to reading each assignment 3 times to make sure I got my "A." And I liked it. The rest is history. Now I've got my master's in literature and am currently considering law school.
